Annual World Marriage Day 

Annual World Marriage Day will be celebrated on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. The Most Reverend Daniel E. Flores will celebrate Holy Mass at the Basilica of Our Lady of San Juan del Valle on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. for those couples celebrating a wedding anniversary of 10, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60 or more than 60 years in the year 2026. Ribbons designating years of marriage and an anniversary certificate signed by the Bishop will be mailed to you. Día Mundial Anual del Matrimonio 

La Celebración del Día Mundial del Matrimonio se celebrará el día sábado, 14 de febrero de 2026, a las dos de la tarde. El Reverendísimo Daniel E. Flores celebrará la Santa Misa en La Basílica de Nuestra Señora de San Juan del Valle el sábado 14 de febrero de 2026 a las 2:00 p.m. para aquellas parejas que celebran un aniversario de boda de 10, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60 o más de 60 años en el año 2026. Se le enviarán por correo listones que designan los años de matrimonio y un certificado de aniversario firmado por el Obispo. Valentine's Day Gala Planning Meeting

Silent Auction Items Needed for the Valentine's Gala 

We need items for the Silent Auction at our Valentine's Gala. Acceptable donations include jewelry, religious items, pictures, statues, antique furniture, new kitchenware, paintings, crafts, gift baskets and more. All items must be in good condition and have a value of $30 or more.

Gift Cards Needed for the Gala Mystery Boxes 

We are seeking 200 gift cards valued at $20, $25, $30, $50, or $100 for our Gala Mystery Boxes. Each Mystery Box, sold for $20, includes a gift card of equal or greater value. Your donation will help us reach our goal of preparing 200 boxes. We welcome gift cards from any restaurant, H-E-B, Walmart, or department store. Thank you for your generosity.

Valentine's Gala Sponsorships Available 

Our Parish Communities will host a Valentine's Gala— featuring dinner, dancing, and a silent auction—on Saturday, February 14 from 6:00 p.m. to midnight. Music will be provided by The Westside Band. Sponsorship packages are available at the following levels: $800 for 8 guests, $400 for 4 guests, and $200 for 2 guests. Sponsorships may be purchased at the parish office.

Nuestras Comunidades Parroquiales organizarán una Gala de San Valentín —con cena, baile y una subasta silenciosa— el sábado 14 de febrero de 6:00 p.m. a medianoche. La música estará a cargo de The Westside Band. Los paquetes de patrocinio están disponibles en los siguientes niveles: $800 para 8 invitados, $400 para 4 invitados y $200 para 2 invitados. Feast of the Presentation of the Lord

Monday, February 2 is the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord. Parishioners are invited to bring the Baby Jesus from their nativity sets to be blessed during Mass. We will also bless the candles that will be used throughout the year for our liturgical celebrations.

Fiesta de la Presentación del Señor

El lunes 2 de febrero es la Fiesta de la Presentación del Señor. Se invita a los feligreses a traer al Niño  Jesús de sus nacimientos para ser bendecido durante la Misa. También bendeciremos las velas que se utilizarán a lo largo del año en nuestras celebraciones litúrgicas.

Feast of St. Blaise Blessing of the Throats

The Feast of St. Blaise will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 3. Although the traditional Blessing of Throats takes place on this day, we recognize that many parishioners are unable to attend weekday Mass. Therefore, the Blessing of Throats will be offered during all Masses on the weekend of January 31 and February 1.

Fiesta de San Blas—Bendición de las Gargantas

La Fiesta de San Blas se celebrará el martes, 3 de febrero. Aunque la Bendición de las Gargantas tradicionalmente se realiza ese día, reconocemos que muchos feligreses no pueden asistir a Misa entre semana. Por lo tanto, la Bendición de las Gargantas se ofrecerá durante todas las Misas del fin de semana del 31 de enero y 1 de febrero.

Young Adult Gathering

All young adults 18 to 30 are invited to join our young adult ministry. We meet on the first and third Sunday's of the month from 5pm—7pm at the parish hall in Edcouch.  Join us for an evening of fun and faith sharing.

Reunión de Jóvenes Adultos

Todos los jóvenes adultos de 18 a 30 años están invitados a unirse a nuestro ministerio de jóvenes adultos. Nos reunimos el primer y tercer domingo del mes de 5pm a 7pm en el salón parroquial de Edcouch.  Únase a nosotros para una noche de diversión e intercambio de fe.
