Classes are held at the St. Theresa Religious Education Building in Edcouch.

Due to the Construction at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Hall in La Villa, all Faith Formation Classes for children and youth from La Villa will be held at the St. Theresa Religious Education Building in Edcouch.

Ministries Appreciation Posada and Christmas Party

In thanksgiving for all our volunteers who faithfully serve in our parish ministries throughout the year, we joyfully invite you to a Christmas Party and Dinner in your honor on Friday, December 20th at the Parish Hall in Edcouch. The evening will begin with our Posada at 7:00 PM, followed by a festive dinner and fun activities. Let us come together to celebrate your generous service, share fellowship, and enjoy the spirit of Christmas!

Posada de Agradecimiento a los Ministerios y Fiesta Navideña

En acción de gracias por todos nuestros voluntarios que sirven fielmente en los ministerios de la parroquia durante todo el año, los invitamos con alegría a una Fiesta y Cena de Navidad en su honor el viernes 20 de diciembre en el Salón Parroquial de Edcouch. La noche comenzará con nuestra Posada a las 7:00 PM, seguida de una cena festiva y divertidas actividades. Unámonos para celebrar su generoso servicio, compartir la fraternidad y disfrutar del espíritu de la Navidad

Posada for our Faith Formation Students and Families

The children and youth from our Faith Formation Program, along with their parents and siblings, are invited to attend our Faith Formation Posada at St. Theresa Parish Hall on the following Tuesday, December 16th—5:30pm to 6:45pm. Come celebrate this joyful tradition with fellowship, prayer, and festive activities as we gather in the spirit of Christmas!

Posada para nuestros Estudiantes y Familias de Formación en la Fe

Los niños y jóvenes de nuestro Programa de Formación en la Fe, junto con sus padres y hermanos, están invitados a participar en nuestra Posada de Formación en la Fe en el Salón Parroquial de Santa Teresa el próximo martes, 16 de diciembre, de 5:30pm a 6:45pm. ¡Vengan a celebrar esta alegre tradición con convivencia, oración y actividades festivas mientras nos reunimos en el espíritu de la Navidad!

Faith Formation Christmas Break

Christmas break for Faith Formation classes will begin on Tuesday, December 22nd. Classes will resume during the week of January 11th–13th. We wish all our students and families a blessed Christmas season and look forward to welcoming everyone back in the new year.

Receso de Navidad de Formación en la Fe

El receso de Navidad para las clases de Formación en la Fe comenzará el martes, 22 de diciembre. Las clases se reanudarán durante la semana del 11 al 13 de enero. Deseamos a todos nuestros estudiantes y familias una bendecida temporada navideña y esperamos darles la bienvenida nuevamente en el Año Nuevo.

Catholic Youth Renovation Project

Contractor Needed

Our parish youth group will be participating in the Catholic Youth Renovation Project from June 7–12. As part of this initiative, the youth will be working on housing renovations to benefit a local family in need. We are seeking a licensed building contractor who is willing to volunteer their time and expertise during these dates. The contractor will:

 Supervise and guide the youth throughout the renovation projects
 Provide instruction on the safe use of electric tools
 Ensure the successful completion of the assigned projects
 Be present onsite with the youth each day of the project

This is a wonderful opportunity to share your professional skills while helping our youth grow in service and faith. If you feel called to assist, please contact Eva Peña or Father Pat for more information.

Pre-Confirmation and Confirmation Students

As part of their preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation, all Pre-Confirmation and Confirmation Students will be required to participate in the Parish Youth Group gatherings on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm–7:30pm at the Parish Hall in Edcouch. These evenings offer a valuable opportunity for faith formation, fellowship, and building community among our youth as we journey together toward Confirmation.

Adult Confirmation Classes

Beginning in late January, we will offer an 8-week course for those adults who were baptized and made their First Holy Communion but never received the Sacrament of Confirmation. Please register for the course at the Faith Formation Office before January 16th. Your baptismal certificate is required at the time of registration.

Clases de Confirmación para Adultos

Comenzando a fines de enero, ofreceremos un curso de 8 semanas para aquellos adultos que fueron bautizados e hicieron su Primera Comunión pero nunca recibieron el Sacramento de la Confirmación. Por favor, regístrese para el curso en la Oficina de Formación de Fe antes del 16 de enero. Se requiere su certificado de bautismo en el momento de la inscripción.

Quinceañera Registration Notice

Any young lady planning to celebrate a Quinceañera during the 2025–2026 school year must register at the Faith Formation Office prior to the start of Faith Formation classes in September. During the registration process, Sister Maria Sanchez will provide a detailed overview of the guidelines and requirements for celebrating a Quinceañera within our parish and mission communities.

Toda joven que planee celebrar su Quinceañera durante el año escolar 2025–2026 deberá registrarse en la Oficina de Formación en la Fe antes del inicio de las clases de Formación en la Fe en septiembre. Durante el proceso de inscripción, la Hermana María Sánchez explicará detalladamente los requisitos para celebrar una Quinceañera en nuestra parroquia y misión.
