Classes are held at the St. Theresa Religious Education Building in Edcouch.

Due to the Construction at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Hall in La Villa, all Faith Formation Classes for children and youth from La Villa will be held at the St. Theresa Religious Education Building in Edcouch.

Faith Formation Christmas Break

Christmas break for Faith Formation classes will begin on Tuesday, December 22nd. Classes will resume during the week of January 11th–13th. We wish all our students and families a blessed Christmas season and look forward to welcoming everyone back in the new year.

Receso de Navidad de Formación en la Fe

El receso de Navidad para las clases de Formación en la Fe comenzará el martes, 22 de diciembre. Las clases se reanudarán durante la semana del 11 al 13 de enero. Deseamos a todos nuestros estudiantes y familias una bendecida temporada navideña y esperamos darles la bienvenida nuevamente en el Año Nuevo.

Adult Confirmation Classes

Beginning in late January, we will offer an 8-week course for those adults who were baptized and made their First Holy Communion but never received the Sacrament of Confirmation. Please register for the course at the Faith Formation Office before January 16th. Your baptismal certificate is required at the time of registration.

Clases de Confirmación para Adultos

Comenzando a fines de enero, ofreceremos un curso de 8 semanas para aquellos adultos que fueron bautizados e hicieron su Primera Comunión pero nunca recibieron el Sacramento de la Confirmación. Por favor, regístrese para el curso en la Oficina de Formación de Fe antes del 16 de enero. Se requiere su certificado de bautismo en el momento de la inscripción.

Pre-Confirmation and Confirmation Students 

As part of their preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation, all Pre-Confirmation and Confirmation Students will be required to participate in the Parish Youth Group gatherings on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm–7:30pm at the Parish Hall in Edcouch. These evenings offer a valuable opportunity for faith formation, fellowship, and building community among our youth as we journey together toward Confirmation.

Quinceañera Registration Notice

Any young lady planning to celebrate a Quinceañera during the 2025–2026 school year must register at the Faith Formation Office prior to the start of Faith Formation classes in September. During the registration process, Sister Maria Sanchez will provide a detailed overview of the guidelines and requirements for celebrating a Quinceañera within our parish and mission communities.

Toda joven que planee celebrar su Quinceañera durante el año escolar 2025–2026 deberá registrarse en la Oficina de Formación en la Fe antes del inicio de las clases de Formación en la Fe en septiembre. Durante el proceso de inscripción, la Hermana María Sánchez explicará detalladamente los requisitos para celebrar una Quinceañera en nuestra parroquia y misión.
